West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-Up Programme – IWD Sustainability Workout
About this event
To celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March, SETsquared and the University of Bath will be running a female-led Sustainability Workout as part of its West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-Up Programme. This time, they’re changing the format to make it more inclusive for women and those with family commitments to attend.
The Sustainability Workout is a fully-funded 2-day workshop open to businesses in the West of England that want to make changes to their sustainability and green agenda. The March event will be held over 3-short days on the 8, 9,10 March from 09:00-13:00. Whilst open to all, it is hoped the new schedule will encourage sign up from more female founders and entrepreneurs. The March workout will also be facilitated with an all-female panel and it will be delivered by expert female facilitators and mentors.

About the programme
Are you based in the West of England and developing low carbon technologies?
Or are you looking for ways to make your business and its products and services more sustainable?
If so, you could benefit from this fully funded specialist business and innovation support to help accelerate your growth.
Delivered by specialists in sustainable technology, there are two main strands to this programme:
- The opportunity to take part in a sustainability workout, an online workshop that helps you scrutinise your existing business model to look at how you could evolve it to access new markets, adopt new financial models, find new value by streamlining internal processes and as a business become more sustainable.
- A package of support from academic experts to help develop your technologies, products, services and business model. This programme is rooted in the Centre for Sustainable & Circular Technologies at the University of Bath and depending on your business needs we can facilitate introductions for you to collaborate with experts from the University of Bath.
It could also lead to further university collaboration and support through our Scale-Up Programme.
If you are looking for ways to become more sustainable as a business, we’ll help you to do this without increasing your costs.
